Remember the sixteenth of December
Owen needed to have everything set . He was going on a date with Katie. He had planned it all out the night before. Ordering an outfit, making reservations at a restaurant, and getting his cast color coordinated with his suit. This would either be a disaster or an amazing night. Owen sighed in aggravation. What was he going to do about transportation? An idea came to his head and he instantly smiled. His dad had a 2007 Shelby GT500 Mustang in the garage. It was in excellent condition. He put on his dress pants and looked into the mirror behind the door. The creases in them were perfect and the pants were hemmed. Next, he put on his shirt and tie. Owen looked at the jacket on the bed and wasn’t sure if putting it on would make him look like he’s overdoing it. Owen combed his hair and put on his black leather shoes. A nice compliment to the outfit. They’re were shining too. Another plus. Owen called a taxi and walked down the stairs, waiting for it to arrive. It seemed as if Anya’s parents were avoiding him. They probably thought he was the reason the reason Anya made the actions she did. His shoulders slumped as he thought of this. Yesterday he had bailed her out of jail. She was going to rehab for a week. He would have suggested longer. There was a ‘beep’ outside and Owen made his way to the taxi. He told the driver the address to his house and they were on their way. Once there Owen crept to the garage and opened it. His father never locked it due to the fact that he always lost his keys. Owen snuck over to the car and slid into the driver’s seat. He looked inside of the middle compartment and pulled out the keys. If his dad knew he used this car he would kill him. Owen turned on the car and put it in neutral. He then got out and pushed the car out of the garage until it was in the road. He ran over to close the garage door and pulled away from the house.
He drove to the Matlin household. He looked over at the house with a smile.Disembarking, Owen rushed to her front door. He rang the doorbell once, waiting for his fellow classmate to answer.
